Meet Kathy Kongsjord, MA, LPCC, NCC, C-DBT Therapist
Hi, I’m Kathy—thank you for visiting! I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, National Certified Counselor, and Certified Dialectical Behavior Therapist in Minnesota.
My Approach
I believe that therapy is a journey of growth, healing, and discovery. In my practice, I use a variety of therapeutic modalities to help individuals and couples explore personal history, uncover hidden thought and behavior patterns, and break free from barriers that may be holding them back.
This process not only builds practical skills to manage stress and challenges, but also creates space for clients to feel excited about what life has to offer.
What You Can Expect
You will always be treated with respect and compassion in a safe, nonjudgmental environment—whether we meet in person or through telehealth.
My style is warm, supportive, and direct, and I often use humor as part of the healing process. If you’re ready to do meaningful work (and laugh a little along the way), we may be a great fit!
Let’s Grow on Purpose
Therapy is not just about overcoming struggles—it’s about building the life you want with intention. Together, we’ll work toward helping you live with more balance, resilience, and joy.
